My second round of P90X will be different than my first round in a number of ways. This time, I’m making my 90 day commitment over the span of 5 months (3-6 workouts a week for 5 months vs. the standard 6-7 workouts per week over 3 months). I really enjoyed my first round with [...]

Regardless, the time has come! I’m going to be doing things [...]

Day 49 - Yoga X - P90X II
My flexibility and balance have both certainly improved since I began my second round of P90X. I got toe-lock on the standing leg extensions for the first time, and I held wheel for the full time with no problems what-so-ever today.

Day 75 - Chest, Shoulders, & Triceps - P90X II
Didn’t workout as hard today as I did yesterday but, considering that I strained my lower back a bit yesterday, I think that’s probably a good thing.

Day 11 - Kenpo X - P90X II

Day 78 - Cardio X - P90X II
As usual Cardio X snuck up on me today. It’s easy at first, but by the end you are sweaty and out of breath. Lower back felt fine. Little pain in my left knee.

Day 30 - Plyometrics - P90X II
Good workout today. Had my heart rate up above 140 bpm for the vast majority of the workout and 150 bpm for most of it. Got a couple “tweaks”, one in my left calf and one in my upper back, which I’ll be monitoring.
